Seven acts step up for AGT semi-final #7

Prime-generic June 19, 2012, 10:13 am

With just four spots remaining in the finals, the competition is fiercer than ever this week on Australia's Got Talent.

The second last semi final promises to deliver a dizzying array of skills, from singing to dancing to acrobatics to comedy stripping.

Singer-songwriter Jonny Taylor has a lot to live up to after his spot-on audition. Performing another original song, will this dedicated musician hit the right notes on Wednesday night?

Speaking of hitting the right notes, a cappella enthusiasts MINT 26 are hoping they can ditch their office jobs to become full time performers. Word on the street is that after this week they might be well on their way to living that dream.

Flowers For Midnight, led by soul singer Chrislyn Hamilton, have recently come together as a band. They're set to make a quite a name for themselves with a blues number that has the power to bring people to their feet.

Check out Flowers For Midnight's audition below:

Another contestant used to roaring crowds is Brisbane Broncos mascot and singer Justin Geange. This week he's looking to step completely out of his horse costume and show Australia what he can do.

Hip hop dance duo Phly Crew are after laughs with their unique mix of dance and comedy. Could their quirky style be enough to send them to the finals? Also showing off some slick moves will be acrobatic group Circotic who have put together a fun routine with elements of lyrical dance. We've heard they've suffered quite a few injuries over the past few weeks, so here's hoping they can overcome these setbacks in time.

Dylan Yeandle's commitment to performing is as strong as his biceps, so it's no surprise that our resident comedy stripper is back again. He suffered a temporary wardrobe malfunction during his audition when his zippers weren't zippy enough, but hopefully the wardrobe wizards at AGT have helped Dylan iron out these issues and he's now good to get his gear off!

This week we'll also be joined by special guest Chooka Parker, a 2011 finalist!
