TV's rudest, crudest mother hen is coming to roost when BAFTA-winning comedy Mrs Brown's Boys premieres tonight.
Mrs Brown's Boys stars popular Irish comedian, Brendan O'Carroll, as Mrs Agnes Brown - a foul-mouthed mammy who meddles in the lives of her long-suffering six children with shocking and hilarious consequences.
The character is loosely based on O'Carroll's mother Maureen, an Irish Labour politician who had 11 children, as well as women he encountered on Dublin's Moore Street Market while growing up.
The cast includes O'Carroll's wife, sister, son and daughter who also star with him in the sell-out Mrs Brown stage shows.
Two seasons of Mrs Brown's Boys have already been watched by millions in the UK and Ireland with a third due later this year.
