Snow has blanketed the alps for the second time this week. Both Falls Creek and Mount Hotham recieved about 15 centimetres overnight and forecasters tip more is on the way.



Six newborn kittens found in the roof of Wodonga's Birallee Shopping Centre have been fostered out to loving homes. Firefighters rescued the kittens after a shopper heard sounds of distress in the ceiling.



Albury residents concerned about speeding in their streets have bombarded the council with nominations for the worst 5 streets.

It'll be a tough choice for the council, with nominations coming from all over the city.




Beechworth came alive over the weekend as hundreds of people celebrated Australia's biggest Ned Kelly festival. Tales of our most notorious bushranger were told, as the weekend marked the anniversary of Kelly's committal hearing in 1880.



More than 2000 people turned out at Falls Creek on Saturday to watch sled dog teams from all over Australia. The race is the only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
