    • This privacy policy applies to Prime DigitalWorks Pty Limited ACN 063 959 357, trading as Prime7 ("Prime7") and the website www.Prime7.com.au ("Website"). In this privacy policy the terms "we", "us" and "our" are a reference to Prime7.

      Prime7 is committed to protecting your privacy and is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) ("Privacy Act").

      1. About Prime7 and this Privacy Policy

      This privacy policy outlines how we collect personal and sensitive information, as defined in the Privacy Act and how we maintain, use, disclose and secure that information and destroy information that is no longer needed. It also provides some detail about your privacy rights along with our general rights and obligations and our policy in relation to the personal information we keep on record.

      The Website provides video content and affiliate links to local events and links relevant to the Canberra community. Prior to submitting contributions to the Website, Users are required to register as a Member. This entails providing personal details to Prime7, accepting the General User Terms and Conditions and consenting to this Privacy Policy.

      Personal Information is defined to mean information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database), whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information or opinion.       Any information posted on the Website including videos, in discussion forums, on bulletin boards and/or communicated in chat areas becomes public information. While Prime7 strives to protect and respect your privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose on the Website.

      The Website General User Terms and Conditions prohibit Members from providing sensitive information (subject to exceptions), telephone numbers, street addresses, URLs, email addresses or other information that would allow Users to identify or contact any individual and from including a photograph or image of another person posted without that person's consent.

      4. Personal Information held by Prime7

      Prime7 only collects personal information that is necessary to assist us in providing our services. In most situations the information we collect about you is provided to us directly by you. We will not collect sensitive information about you, unless you have submitted that sensitive information to the Website.

      Generally, we keep a record of one or more of the following types of personal information about Members and/or Users of the Website:

      (a) information required for registration as a Member - such as name, email address, telephone number, date of birth and any other information provided; and

      (b) historical commentary regarding any conversations held directly between our Users and Prime7.

      Prime7 may collect Personal Information about you in a number of ways, including:

      (a) directly from you, when you apply to register as a Member or submit information online; and

      We take reasonable steps to protect all personal information we collect or hold about our Members and/or Users from misuse and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification and disclosure to the best of our ability. We have physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information that is held by us. However, we cannot guarantee the security of transmission.

      We utilise "cookies" which enable us to monitor traffic patterns and to serve you more efficiently if you revisit the site. A cookie does not identify you personally but it does identify your computer. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie and this will provide you with an opportunity to either accept or reject it in each instance.

      We will not sell or otherwise provide your personal information to a third party, or make any other use of your personal information, for any purpose which is not incidental to your use of this Website. For the removal of doubt, personal information will not be used for any purpose which a reasonable person in your position would not expect.

      Prime7 uses secure methods to destroy or de-identify any personal information as soon as the law permits, provided the information is no longer needed by us for any purpose.

      Prime7 may establish relationships with business partners that allow Users of the Website to access websites operated by these partners through the use of a hyperlink. Some of these websites may be co-branded with Prime7's name, trade mark, logo, slogan, URL address or the like, however, these websites are not operated or maintained by Prime7 or on behalf of Prime7. These websites may collect personal information from you that may be shared with us. This Privacy Policy will apply to any personal information we obtain in this manner.

      Prime7 is not responsible for the content or practices of websites operated by third parties that are linked to the Website. These links are for the User's convenience only. Links to third party websites do not constitute sponsorship, endorsement or approval by us of the content, policy or practise of those third party websites. Once you have left the Website via such a hyperlink, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party website.

      10. Rights to Disclose Personal Information

      In using personal information, we may need to disclose personal information to various organisations and/or parties such as information technology service providers, marketing service providers, market research agents, business partners, affiliates and related companies of Prime7.

      Generally, your consent is required prior to disclosure of personal information, however we may use or disclose that information without obtaining your prior consent if:

      If we disagree as to the accuracy of the information, you may request that we attach a statement to that information noting that you consider it to be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

      Individuals are entitled to request access to any personal information relating to them that has been supplied to us over this Website. They are entitled to edit or delete such information unless we are required by law to retain it.

      We will process requests for access to personal information within a reasonable time, usually 14 days for a straightforward request or 30 days if it is more complicated.       14. Changes to our Privacy Policy

      We may amend this policy statement from time to time. Not all changes to our privacy policy will require the consent of our Users, for example where office security procedures are changed. We will notify our Users of any change to our information handling policy that requires your consent before implementing.
