Construction is underway on the new GP Super Clinic in West Gosford.

The $7 million Reliance GP Super Clinic is being built within the Riverside Park precinct and will occupy parts of the ground and first floor of a new office tower.

Robertson MP Deborah O'Neill said the clinic will bring together a variety of health professionals under one roof to work as a team.

"This GP Super Clinic will provide an essential element in building a stronger primary health system on the Central Coast," she said.

Dr Rodney Beckwith, director of Reliance Medical Practice, said the new clinic will have a strong emphasis on chronic disease and preventative health care.

“This medical facility will bring together a wide range of medical services from general practice, radiology and pathology to dietetics, exercise physiology and podiatry,” Dr Beckwith said.

“The Super Clinic at West Gosford will have 33 treatment rooms capable of housing 14 doctors and approximately 30 other medical professionals."
