Patients can wait more than eight hours in the back of an ambulance, because there's no room for them at Wagga Base Hospital.
The government was forced to reveal the wait times under Freedom of Information laws.
Paramedics say it's a sign of poor staffing and poor resources at our region's largest hospital.
