Prime-generic June 21, 2012, 9:58 am

Mark Lowndes, Genesis and The Pigs returned to Australia's Got Talent last night to find out if they had progressed through to the next round of the competition. Mark Lowndes secured the highest viewer votes, cementing his place in the Grand Final Showdown. Judges Dannii Minogue, Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden opted with Genesis to return and perform again.

The long awaited return of stripper Dylan Yeandle didn't disappoint Dannii, fanning herself throughout his performance. "Do we want more? That's all I wanna know! Do we want more of this?" she asked the audience. "You three together are adorable; it is such a great show. It's very hot in here now, I have to go!"

Flowers For Midnight wowed the judges with another impressive performance, Brian saying they were 'world class' and 'a red hot favourite to win the show.' Dannii commended the band for being singer Chrislyn Hamilton's 'backbone'. Kyle loved the band, but said for him it was like Chrislyn was the only one on the stage, "I was just focused 100% on you."

Dylan Yeandle and his neighbours have the whole package...

Other highlights included:
  • Energetic dance duo Phlycrew opened with a mix of comedy and hip hop
  • West Australian singer songwriter Jonny Taylor braved an original song 'Slave To The Road'
  • Acrobatic group Circotic impressed the judges with a colorful display of unique tricks, hanging from poles and juggling hula hoops
  • Singer Justin Geange took to the stage with 'The Impossible Dream', but the judges weren't sold on his song choice. Brian likened his performance to a "talent quest on a cruise ship."
  • Acapella group Mint26 had the audience buzzing with their rendition of 'I'm Outta Love' by Anastasia. Brian acknowledged as a group they were powerful. "You finished with a bang, you had a beautiful finish and that was all four of you together united."

The general public can now vote for their favourite contestant from last night's show. The top three most popular acts via public vote will return next week with the most popular going straight through to the Finals Showdown. The judges will then need to decide between the remaining two acts.PHLYCREW CALL 1902 55 75 01 or SMS ‘PHLY’ to 1977 88 88
