Twenty-six people have been caught drink driving in the ACT last week, with eight of them being repeat offenders.
The highest reading was recorded on Saturday morning when police stopped a driver who allegedly attempted to avoid a Random Breath Testing station on Benjamin Way in Belconnen.
Police say the driver, a 33-year-old Macquarie man, blew 0.194. As a P-plater, he was subject to zero alcohol limit.
The man had his licence seized immediately and will face ACT Magistrates Court on 5 September
Police say six drink drivers caught in the past week were subject to a zero Alcohol Content reading.
