Puppies stolen in burglary

Three pure bred Toy Pomeranian puppies are among $25,000 worth of property that was stolen from a Rivett home over the weekend.

Police say they were called to a home on Santalum Street after a witness saw two men exit the house with several items about 12.10pm.

Officers attended the scene but were unable to locate the men

They say someone had forced entry to the property.

The residents of the home told police an estimated $25,000 worth of property had been stolen.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in Santalum Street, Rivett on Saturday afternoon or who may know the whereabouts of the Toy Pomeranian puppies to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
