Vision Australia is the leading provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia. We work in positive partnership with Australians who are blind or have low vision to help achieve the possibilities they choose in life.
We do this by developing practical solutions to everyday challenges. Striving together we create exciting lifetime possibilities by providing comprehensive training and easy access to the world's information.
We provide services to people at home, in our centres and in the community, from regional and metropolitan locations in NSW, the ACT, Queensland, the Northern Territory and Victoria. We offer a range of services including, Seeing Eye Dogs, low vision support, library and information, orientation and mobility, and many more that can be tailored to a person's level of vision.
Vision Australia is a partnership between people who are blind, sighted or have low vision. We are united by our passion that people who are blind or have low vision will have access to and fully participate in every part of life they choose.
CampaignsToday's Challenges for Australians who are blind or have low vision are significant. As the nation's leading provider of services to people who are blind or have low vision, Vision Australia embraces the responsibility of meeting these challenges with great passion and commitment.
For example, there are 300,000 Australians who are blind or have low vision. With an increasingly ageing population this number will grow to about 600,000 by 2020. This means while today 25 people have learnt they will lose their sight, in 10 years time 80 people a day will receive the same news. Vision Australia has committed itself provide services to 30% more clients over the next three years.

There is no easier way of supporting our many services than by making a donation. Community involvement is an essential part of Vision Australia's fundraising activities.
