An unlicensed Charnwood man has been arrested after a police chase involving a stolen truck.
Police say they saw the stolen truck travelling along Gundaroo Drive in Crace at 3am on Thursday.
Officers followed the truck and allegedly saw it mount the curb of the roundabout at the intersection of the Barton Highway and Gundaroo Drive in Crace.
Police say they tried to stop the truck but the driver ignored them and sped away.
"A pursuit commenced through Giralang, with police deploying stop sticks on Kuringa Drive, causing the truck’s right-side tyres to deflate," ACT Policing said in a statement.
The truck travelled slowly through Fraser before stopping outside a home on Rochford Street.
The chase lasted about six minutes and reached a top speed of 90km/h.
Police say the 42-year-old man was breathtested and blew 0.163.Copyright © 2013 Yahoo!7
