A 19-year-old man is fighting for life after he fell from a moving truck while at work near Bungendore.

Police say it happened while he and two others were doing contract work on a property on Currandooley Road at Lake George.

It's believed he was riding on top of the truck when he slipped and fell underneath.

He was flown to hospital with head injuries.
